Kim Kardashian doesn't typically strike us as a kopy kat.

Sure, her first name starts with the same letter as everyone else in her family. But the reality TV star attempted a few unique shots in her sex tape with Ray J, while she takes pride in staying one step ahead of the latest fashion trend.

That's why it seemed especially unusual when Kardashian showed up for this week's Maxim Hot 100 party looking exactly like Jennifer Lopez.

It's unlike Kim to follow in anyone's style footsteps, let alone a D-list celebrity who hasn't had a hit movie, song or album in years. Can you even tell the stars apart in the pictures below?

Shanna Moakler Welcomes Carrie Prejean into Miss California Family

Earlier today, at a press conference announcing the confirmation of Carrie Prejean as Miss California, that pageant's co-director said there would be peace in the Middle East if we sent Donad Trump over there.

Keith Lewis may have been exagerrating, but The Donald does appear to have brokered talks between Shanna Moakler and Prejean.

"Thanks to Donald Trump, we were able to have a meeting with Miss Prejean and her family alone for the first time since the pageant," Moakler, the co-executive director of the pageant, told People. "We were able to sit down and communicate and vent our frustrations. I am confident that she will stay true to the contract. I'm looking forward to returning to L.A. and starting fresh." 

Moakler added that the problem her and other officials had with Prejean was NOT related to her well-known beliefs on gay nuptials.

"Our issue was never about her opinions about same-sex marriage or the pictures. Our issue was with her complying with our agreement. When you sign the contract, we ask you to show us everything you are being offered. That wasn't happening. After the pageant, we lost control of our titleholder."

An understandable issue, no doubt.

Now, Moakler says, the air has been cleared and everyone can move forward. It's all she and Lewis ever wanted in the first place.

"She's part of our family. We care about her. But she's only 21 and we felt like she was being exploited. These people were not around for Miss USA, but they sure were afterward. They jumped on her bandwagon and tried to exploit her. We are trying to protect her."

Sarah Palin to Pen Memoir

On the campaign trail, Sarah Palin chided Barack Obama for writing two books about his relatively young life while not passing any worthwhile legislation.

Now the former Republican V.P. candidate is ready to follow suit!

Palin will publish a memoir with HarperCollins that will come out in Spring 2010 - the same time she becomes eligible for reelection as Alaska's governor.

The Alaska governor's book, as yet untitled, will cover her many career accomplishments some of the controversies surrounding herself and her family.

The memoir will span her Alaskan childhood through last year's campaign and beyond, and will likely cover her political beliefs and family life.

The pregnancy of her teen daughter Bristol Palin, who gave birth in December, will surely be included. Whether or not Levi Johnston tapped that while Sarah slept in the next room will probably remain shrouded in mystery, however.

"In fairness to my family, this is going be a good opportunity for me to cash in on them, too, because there have been so many misperceptions out there about who we are and what we believe in," Palin said in a statement. 

Other possible topics that Palin's ghostwriter of choice might cover:

• Emotional family bonding sessions on the front porch, while sipping on wolf blood and enjoying the view of Russia
• Her incredible wedding night sex with Todd Palin, after they waited to do it until they were married, of course

America's Next Top Model Winner: Teyona Anderson

Danny Gokey's American Idol dreams may have died last night, but the modeling career of Teyona Anderson was born.

The 20-year old New Jersey native - who had to be pushed to audition for the show by friends - was crowned the 12th cycle winner of America's Next Top Model.

After beating out Allison Harvard in the finals, an emotional Anderson said:

"I come from the little country streets of Woodstown, New Jersey, growing up in the cornfields, playing in the woods with boys, to being America's Next Top Model! I've wanted to do this so long, I just wanted to model…That's what I want to do, it's my passion…To win, and my hard work actually paid off…It's amazing...

"I'm so proud of myself, it's ridiculous…like, is this for real?!'"

It is, indeed. To prove it, Anderson will soon receive a six-page spread in Seventeen; a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics; and representation from Elite Model Management.

Rep: New Rihanna-Lady GaGa Song is a Farce

The Rihanna nude photos that leaked last week appear to be real (albeit not that interesting, attractive or scandalous, to be perfectly honest).

The new track called "Silly Boy" that she is allegedly working on - and in which she appears to be trashing Chris Brown - is a fake, however.

Her rep tells Us Weekly that it's not even Rihanna performing on "Silly Boy," an upbeat track Kanye West linked to on his blog on Monday.

Lady Gaga was also touted as being "featured" on the song with backing vocals, but her rep also has come out and said that's not true.

"This isn't them," GaGa's spokesperson said. "Total fake track."

Multiple celebrity news and music outlets speculated Rihanna was singing about Brown, who was arrested in February for allegedly assaulting her.

With lyrics like, "Get out of my face... You had a good girl, but didn't know how to treat her... I don't want you no more... The only thing I want from you is for you to stay away," one can understand how they might think this.

Our other favorite part was, "So silly boy, get out my face. Why do you like the way regrets taste?” Ouch, talk about a brutal kiss-off line. Brown (or Negus Sealy) would surely be smarting from that one if the song were legit.

As for why Kanye West linked to a "fake" song, no explanation has been provided. But we're sure he is quite angry with someone or something.

Eminem To Get Animated With Stewie Griffin From 'Family Guy'

Eminem has been many things, from a world-famous, multiplatinum rapper to an Academy Award winner. He was once even animated into a series of cartoon shorts. Now, Eminem is taking his animated career even further, co-hosting Fox's "animation domination" programming block with none other than Stewie Griffin from "Family Guy."

"It was a thrill to work with Stewie," Eminem said in a press release. "I'm a big fan of talking babies and their humor."

The seemingly unlikely pair are teaming up to make a MySpace music announcement Sunday night (MySpace and Fox are owned by the same parent company, News Corporation). Perhaps it will be a surprise/secret MySpace concert, or maybe just Eminem thanking you for the friend add. Only time will tell.

Of course, that's not the only connection Stewie has to rap music. Back in 2003, he guest-starred on the MTV News VMA preshow to review some of the nominees. We couldn't help but pull that clip out of the vault and dust it off while we get psyched for Shady's announcement on Sunday.

If that's not enough Eminem for you, get your fill when Marshall does three nights of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" He'll be keeping America up late Friday, Tuesday (the day his Relapse album is released) and the following Friday, with that last performance live via satellite from Detroit.

A Complex Cassie Photo Shoot

Last week, people were talking about the Cassie nude photos that hit the Internet after they were "hacked," i.e. released by her handlers to generate attention.

Well, we've removed those risque pictures down after a complaint from Atlantic Records and Bad Boy Entertainment claiming "exclusive rights" to said images.

If we are to understand this correctly, Bad Boy Entertainment is therefore claiming ownership over Cassie's breasts and baby factory. She's totally doing Diddy!

Just making sure we're clear on that.

Katy Perry: Single, Ready to Get Married

Katy Perry is ready to walk down the aisle. With someone.

"I'd like to get married if I find that 'one' everyone talks about," she tells the June issue of UK Cosmopolitan. "I'm not in a rush, but last night I was thinking, 'Is it wrong for me to want to marry soon and have that feeling?'"

"And I wonder when that person is going to present himself to me. To me, marriage isn't about bank accounts and houses; it's about finding the one you can hitch your hip to and build on each other's strengths," she goes on.

The singer, who split from Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy last January, but supposedly got back together with him recently, tells Cosmo she's currently single.

She adds that she doesn't like it that way.

"I don't like being single, no. I live a fantastic life, but at the end of the day all I want to do is pick up my phone and share it with someone," she says.

"The other day I'd sold a million records in the U.S. and I didn't have anyone to tell. It was actually a really lonely moment."

Being famous has made it harder to find romance as well.

"If I go out to dinner with a guy, people automatically think we're dating," Katy Perry added. "And then when you do start dating, it becomes a race to the altar. I'm like, 'Come on, can't we just be boyfriend and girlfriend?'"

Her ideal guy?

"Firstly, he has to be stronger than I am mentally. He can't be jealous because I'm a very touchy-feely person. And he'd need to be able to tell me both yes and no. I'll probably end up with someone who's a bit older, a few steps ahead of me."

LaLa Vazquez Ejected From Game, Claims Racial Taunts

LaLa Vazquez, or just "La La" to some, has had a distinguished career as a DJ, reality TV host, and playing herself in any movie that will have her.

In pro basketball circles, she is also known as the fiancee of Carmelo Anthony, star of the surging Denver Nuggets, which brings us to this article.

With her husband's team in Dallas taking on the Mavericks, LaLa was ejected after an unspecified "incident" with some old ladies sitting behind her.

LaLa Vazquez Gets in Fight at Nuggets-Mavs Game

Today, LaLa released a statement claiming racial taunts and violent threats from Dallas fans started the altercation that became the talk of the game:

"Obviously playoff games bring out the best and the worst in fans but what happened on Monday night with the racial slurs / threats, verbal attacks on my son and physical attacks to myself by irate fans was completely unacceptable."

"The fans were totally out of control. What the cameras captured was me defending myself and didn't show the abuse that was taking place."

LaLa Vazquez, ironically, is a judge on VH1's Charm School.

The Mavs and Nuggets are set to face off again tomorrow night.

Jen Schefft and Joe Waterman: Married!

After searching for love on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Jen Schefft finally found it ...  in fellow Chicagoan Joe Waterman, who's not affiliated with the ABC reality series in any way! The two got married last night! Yay!

A "traditional yet modern" Windy City ceremony joined the two for life. Jen Schefft, 32, met Joe Waterman, 35, four years after giving up on reality TV romance.

"We clicked early on, and it happened so fast," she said. "We just got along so well, and it was so easy. I never worried when I'd see him again or when he'd call."

He proposed this past September, and that was awesome, but just one month after she got engaged to Waterman, Schefft was laid off from her sales job.

She was thus determined to have a low-cost wedding.

The small ceremony - which she promised wouldn't include any roses a la The Bachelor and The Bachelorette - included fewer than 100 guests.

"You don't want to exclude anyone, but I just wanted close friends and family," she said. "It's about Joe and me, not entertaining 400 people."

Before she found her soulmate in Joe Waterman, Schefft was the winner of The Bachelor's third season and engaged to Andrew Firestone. She moved to San Francisco to be with him, but their relationship soon fizzled and they broke up.

She turned down a proposal on 2005's The Bachelorette. On Monday, Jillian Harris stars on the new season and begins her quest for love!

Spencer Pratt, Miley Cyrus Tweet, Plan Double Date

For reasons unknown, Spencer Pratt decided to post his cell phone number on Twitter Wednesday night - and none other than Miley Cyrus rang him up.

"is it weird that @spencerpratt put up his "number" on twitter and i called? haha :)" the popular teenage Disney corporate drone later Tweeted.

Spencer Pratt cleverly replied on Twitter: "is it weird that I am secretly your biggest fan!!! I'm crushed I missed your call! I will be answering all day!"

The Hills villain later wrote: "i gave you my other cell phone number in direct message that way when you call Speidi will pick u up! i owe both you and justin... i owe you both the biggest milkshakes they can serve!"

Wow. We love third-person nickname reference of Speidi. Maybe he can freestyle about this scintillating Twitter exchange in his next rap song.

Spencer also invited Miley and her Billy Ray Cyrus-look-alike boyfriend, Justin Gaston, on a double date with he and his plastic wife, Heidi Montag, after Miley complained about getting spammed from Spencer's "number."

"@mileycyrus let's double date you and @justinmgaston and Heidi and I! We can get millshakes!" Pratt said.

Miley Cyrus' response?

"im down! you owe me a milkshake anyhoo since i got suckered into calling your voicemail thing and now 'you' keep texting me ha," she said, adding:

You won't believe your ears ... until they bleed.

Under the stage name "The Great White," Spencer Pratt of The Hills released a new rap song, "I'm a Celebrity," on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show today.

It's as bad as you think - as is his obligatory self-promotion.

"First I took over TV, the tabloids and the Internet - now I'm going after the airwaves," the reality TV villain said. "Nothing can stop 'The Great White.'"

Some of the brain-melting lyrics are as follows:

"Baby I get paid... I've been around the world, but I'm not finished yet... first Tweet of the day, I put my swag on... I'm in the limelight and I love it like my wife."

The Hills' Spencer Pratt makes music and douchebag history, becoming the first human being to ever reference his "first Tweet of the day" over a hip-hop beat.

Last month, new wife Heidi Montag said she wants her husband to sing and rap on her forthcoming, equally unlistenable pop record, saying: "Spencer Pratt is amazing. I'd love to get him on my album. He sings, he raps - he does everything."

Yes, he sure does, Heidi. Way to refer to him by his first and last name, because we were a little unclear on who you were talking about.

Will Nadya Suleman Get Plastic Surgery?

Nadya Suleman is not too proud to accept handouts.

In fact, the fertile one is all for it. She's accepted donations for her newborns, sold family photos, applied for food stamps, enlisted free nannies she later fired for being spies and sponged off taxpayers in countless other ways.

But she's drawing the line at plastic surgery. But only because she doesn't feel she needs it - otherwise, what's another $20,000 for the public to pick up?

"I would never even accept a tummy tuck even if it were offered because I don't need it," Octomom nobly told Radar Online. "I'm actually shocked myself at my own body ... my goal is to do things as naturally as possible."

Except for being artificially inseminated with 14 frickin' kids, that is.

Although Octomom says she's had "absolutely no time to do anything yet," she is convinced that she'll eventually get back into top shape on her own.

"I would like to join a gym," she says without explanation of how she would pay for the membership (or a nanny to watch her kids) on her $0 salary.

"My friends nicknamed me 'Rubberband' because after every [child] I had, I was back to a size 2 in a month. Now, it's three months, and I'm not a 2 yet. I'm a 5 or 6, but I'll get there. I like to be small because I have extraordinary energy."

Wait ... Nadya Suleman has friends?

While she has no plans to go under the knife, Suleman did add without irony that she is feeling compelled to provide for her children.

"What's going on now is that I feel obligated - almost compelled - to earn a living to take care of my kids," she says.

By whoring them out on a reality show, natch.

Wednesday night People en Español celebrated its 13th annual "Los 50 Mas Bello" ("50 Most Beautiful") issue with a star-studded affair at the Edison Ballroom in New York. All the stars walking the gold carpet were dressed to impress and excited to be a part of a celebration that pays tribute to some of the most beautiful Latino celebrities in the world.

"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria-Parker, one of the Most Beautiful, was one of the first on the carpet, and she stopped to philosophize with MTV News. "Beauty comes from inside, and who I am inside is Mexican-American," she said. "So, for me, that's where beauty comes from."

Former Chicago Cub Sammy Sosa and his wife also came through to show support for the Latino community. When asked to give his definition of Latin beauty, he laughed and said, "My wife."

For many of those that made the list, one common theme seemed to emerge: When it comes to your looks, you have to thank your mom. Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza, was quick to pay her respects. "It's a big responsibility to be named as one of the most beautiful, but I still think that's my mom," she said.

CNN's Soledad O'Brien, Mexican telenovela star Maite Perroni and her Cuban co-star William Levy were among the other beautiful people in attendance. The event included a surprise performance by Cuban singer Cucu Diamantes.

Attorney: Kiefer Sutherland Not the Instigator

Kiefer Sutherland hasn't exactly tackled his latest PR nightmare head-on, but the 24 star's camp has broken its silence on he allegedly head-butted Jack McCollough.

Sutherland was charged with misdemeanor assault as a result.

However, while proclaiming his client's innocence in the Met Costume Gala aftermath, the actor's lawyer didn't exactly go out of his way to set the record straight.

"We are troubled by the untruthful and self-serving information circulating regarding Kiefer Sutherland and events of last Monday evening," Michael C. Miller said.

"We are confident, however, that the investigation being conducted by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the NYPD will confirm that Kiefer Sutherland was neither the instigator nor a wrongdoer in this incident."

"Out of respect for this law enforcement process, Kiefer Sutherland will not be making any comment at this time," the attorney's statement concluded.

According to reports, the actor supposedly attacked Jack McCollough for something the fashion designer did to Brooke Shields, and broke his nose in the process.

For her part, Shields' team has broken its silence to shoot down "a number of statements [that] have been attributed to Ms. Shields in the media that are neither true nor authorized" and offer the actress' version of events.

"These statements were obviously made by those not in attendance at the party and constitute their version of events," said attorney Gerald Lefcourt.

"At the party she was bumped into by Jack McCollough and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned. Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company ... Both Jack and Kiefer are friends of Ms. Shields and she regrets this unfortunate situation."

Sutherland is due to be arraigned on the assault charge June 22.

Oh my goodness, it really must be Italian Appreciation Day. Marty Scorsese, beloved maker of mob movies, has signed on to direct a biopic of one Francis Albert Sinatra.

Yes, that sound you just heard was a pizza pie falling to the ground.

Universal and Mandalay have been working on getting the crooner's life rights for some time now, and they've finally succeeded. So all things are a go. Now they just have to find their Frank. Hell, it's probably just gonna be Chris Pine or something.

The best thing about this news, however, is that hopefully it means that this ! abomination won't get off the ground.

Spencer Pratt On Upcoming Rap Album: 'I'm The White Jay-Z'

Spencer Pratt insists that his recently released rap song, "I'm a Celebrity," isn't just a promo for his upcoming stint on the reality show, "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" Instead, the newlywed "Hills" star reveals that the song is just a taste of what fans can expect when he does eventually put out his own rap album. Yes, Spencer has plans to release a rap album.

"I've always known that I secretly am the hottest rapper in the game," he told MTV News. "But I didn't feel the urge until Asher Roth started hitting the airwaves and — no offense to Asher Roth — somebody with some real swagger needed to come into the game. So, I'll challenge him. I'll challenge him to a freestyle or whatever."

He went on to add, "I'm the white Jay-Z in the game. I'm doing the baller thing. I'm more for the streets."

Pratt — who does have plans to release an album with his equally musically inclined wife, who once hinted at his musical abilities — said that unlike Asher Roth, he's bringing the baller mentality back to the rap game. "The only person I'm really feeling in the game right now is Soulja Boy and Gucci Mane," he said, adding that his album will have "big, huge Steve Morales tracks [the producer behind Lil Wayne's 'Pop Bottles'], so it'll definitely be big hooks, and I'm going after the ringtone game."

So, until they hit the studio together, fans of Speidi can also look forward to a tour someday. "We're a team. We'll be going on tour together. She's my #1, like Biggie and Lil' Kim back in the day."

Kristen Dalton: Carrie Prejean is Great For Publicity

With all the controversy surrounding Carrie Prejean, it's easy to forget that the lightning rod was not actually named Miss USA a couple of weeks ago.

That honor went to Kristen Dalton.

Immediately after the North Carolina beauty took the crown, the spotlight turned to Prejean and her comments about same-sex marriage. But Dalton doesn't mind, telling E! Online that all the commotion has actually been a good thing.

"I think it's great for the Miss Universe Organization, it's given us a lot of publicity," Dalton said. "A lot of people will be watching this Miss USA pageant next year."

Wonderfully PC answer. She should go into politics.

And as for the embattled Miss California, Dalton says the outspoken Prejean "was friendly to everybody, so I don't really think anyone has a problem with her."

As for her views on a certain divisive political issue?

"Everybody has the right to their own opinion," Kristen Dalton said, "Me personally, I think that everybody deserves equal rights, it's really as simple as that."

Donald Trump's Miss Universe Organization insists it didn't take issue with Prejean's comments but that she appeared to be shirking Miss California duties to pursue her own agenda. That, and the topless photos she took when she was 17.

Although dethroned Miss Nevada 2007 Katie Rees feels Trump created a double standard by keeping Prejean but stripping her own crown due to older party pics that surfaced after she won, Dalton sees a difference between the two situations.

"If you look at the photos, they're completely different," the reigning Miss USA said. "Carrie's were modeling photos, and Katie's were in action."

She means girl-on-girl action, in case any of you are unfamiliar.
