TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL: Six young Hollywood stars promote OP's fall line.

At the shoot at University High School in L.A., the girls bonded over gossip in the bus while Cody and Brody palled around on skateboards between takes.

Appearing in the ads was not a hard sell for the stars.

"When they asked if I wanted to be involved, I was like, 'definitely!'" said Joel Madden. "Op is a classic California skating and surfing brand. It’s very cool."

"Being from Southern California, I basically grew up wearing Op," Brody Jenner added. "It’s really cool for me to now be part of their new ads."

Britney Spears, Dancers Work on New Number

New Britney Spears pictures have been released on her official site, showing the star and her dancers after they rehearsed a new number for her concerts.

The hot new number, whatever it might be, will be unveiled in Europe during the current leg of her Circus tour next month. What do you think it will be?

The Mystery of Maria Belen Chapur Continues

The only people happy about the cheating scandal surrounding South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford this week may be Jon and Kate Gosselin.

After all, Sanford's affair with - and racy emails to - his Argentine mistress Maria Belen Chapur have captivated scandal-crazed gossip readers.

A TV station in Argentina appeared to beat the paparazzi to the punch, said the New York Post, unearthing an older Maria Belen Chapur video.

Argentina's La Prensa claims the video of Maria Belen Chapur dates back to late 2001, when she was covering the one-month anniversary of the collapse of the World Trade Center twin towers during her brief stint as a TV journalist.

This is Mark Sanford's lover Maria Belen Chapur. Supposedly.

Little else is known about Mark Sanford's mistress, who's supposedly married  with two kids herself, lives in Buenos Aires and is "a beautiful brunette with big eyes who plays tennis on a nearby lawn and runs every morning in her neighborhood."

The doorman in her building describes her as very nice and "elegant" - she graduated from some of Argentina's finest schools. But for now she's holed up in her apartment, avoiding the legions of journalists standing sentry outside.

Meanwhile, other Maria Belen Chapur pictures have been revealed, but may or may not be of the same woman Mark Sanford had a relationship with.

For now, all we can do is make do with what we have - unless another political scandal breaks along the way and takes its risque place, of course.

Whitney Port: Single and Loving it

Whitney Port has learned a few things about being single.

"Just be open to all different possibilities and all different types," she said. "Try not to overanalyze things or put too much pressure on things."

"It's just fun to be single, to meet a lot of people, to date around, to figure out what you really want and are looking for, what works for you."

What does the adorable 24-year-old star of The City want, exactly?

"I'm not there yet! I’m still in [the] dating around phase!" Port says.

The MTV reality star split with her Australian musician boyfriend Jay Lyon on The Hills spinoff's season finale after less than a year together.

Whitney Port admits that the two are not on the best of terms.

"I'd never say we're, like, not friends, but, you know, the past is the past," she said. "In an ideal world, of course you want to stay friends with your exes. I mean, there was something there. There was a reason you liked each other."

"But you know, the world isn't always perfect," she astutely reflected. "And sometimes we have to let people go and move forward and sometimes you can't do that if you're still having a relationship - even if it's just as friends."

The City returns this fall. Reportedly with the addition of party girls Roxy and Samantha, who have been enlisted to spice up the boring show.

If you've been dreaming of snuggling up to your very own version of Edward Cullen every now and then, well, it looks like you’re very much in luck.

Mattel has created its own Edward Cullen Ken doll, with “shimmering complexion” and “trademark gold eyes,” in homage to the Twilight character.

If it’s your thing, you can order a Bella Swan Barbie, too.

Toys “R” Us recommends the dolls for people ages 6-7 years, but given the vastness of the Twilight universe, expect big sales among people 6-27.

Just try to keep the squealing to a reasonable volume.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's characters from Twilight have been immortalized in Barbie form. Get them while they last. Go on. It's okay, we won't tell anyone.

As for the actors that play Edward and Bella, they have been romantically linked of late, with some reports even saying they are obsessed with each other.

They are on opposite ends of the U.S., though, with Kristen filming The Runaways in L.A. and Rob kissing Emilie de Ravin on the NYC set of Remember Me.

In October they will be reunited on the set of Eclipse. Stay tuned.

Bruno Scene Cut After Michael Jackson Dies

Sacha Baron Cohen may be known for his tasteless humor, but a scene from his new movie which ridicules Michael Jackson has been cut out at the last minute.

It was deemed “in too poor taste,” in light of the fact that Jackson died yesterday at the age of 50. The change was made in time for the Bruno premiere.

A situation like this is almost unheard of, as the studio in charge of the film’s release had to perform the last-second edit in time for the debut last night.

Bruno follows Sacha Baron Cohen’s alias, a gay fashion reporter from Austria (Bruno) on a journey around America. It's Cohen's NC-17 follow-up to Borat.

In the deleted scene, Cohen, in character as Bruno, conducts a ridiculous interview with La Toya Jackson, sister of the late Michael, in his chic LA apartment.

After getting her to sit on his “chairs” – Mexican workers bending over on all fours – and then serving her sushi of the hairy body of a naked man, Bruno proceeds to steal La Toya’s cellphone so that he can copy Michael Jackson’s number.

Yeah. Probably a good call to cut that.

The original version of the film has already premiered in Europe including in London, Paris and Berlin, where the comedian has attracted a lot of attention with fancy dress outfits (Sacha Baron Cohen fashion is quite unique) and antics.

Danielle Staub to Run For Congress?

A Republican strategist who is now representing The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub says she has not ruled out running for U.S. Congress.

According to Garden State political insiders, Staub is mulling a bid to challenge U.S. Rep Bill Pascrell (D-Paterson), in the November 2010 election.

"At this point Ms. Staub is fielding numerous offers and has ruled out nothing," Thomas Ammirato said. "Her advisors will be discussing her future shortly."

Ammirato, who does political PR work, says he threw out that very possibility to Danielle Staub, but probably doesn't expect to see her on any ticket.

"I don't see that happening," Ammirato told the Newark Star-Ledger. "It would be the longest of political longshots ... unless there's a huge groundswell."

Well, The Real Housewives of New Jersey does get high ratings ...

Before you write Danielle off and say she is "completely unqualified to run for office" in New Jersey, consider that she already has a criminal record, so she's got that going for her. Her hobbies include lying, gossip and sex in public.

Check, check and check!

Besides, after Ashley Dupre, Rielle Hunter and now Maria Belen Shapur, how bad could Steve Zalewski possibly hurt her? And come on, as if people running for office in this country haven't been labeled much worse than "prostitution whore."

The one potential snag for Danielle Staub? No, not her sex tape, which she blocked in court yesterday. She isn't even registered to vote in New Jersey.

Neither is Beverly Merrill, for that matter.

Waiter Receives $4,000 Tip From Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp is the man. We have always believed this, but there can be no doubt after reading this story. Mohammed A. Sekhani, a veteran waiter at Chicago's legendary steakhouse Gibsons, was recently given a tip by the actor.

Of $4,000.

“Johnny and his party arrived just after 11:30 .p.m at the restaurant and requested a private room. He had visited several times before while he was filming Public Enemies and he promised me that he would return after the premiere," he recalled.

Sekhani says Johnny Depp and his party ordered appetizers as they prepared his favorite dish Clams Casino – clams baked with garlic, pepper and cheese.

Said Sekhani: “He also ordered some $500 bottles of Italian wine and he was in good spirits throughout the evening chatting with Mr. Mann and Ms. Cotillard." 

"I have worked with a lot of stars like Sean Connery and Robert De Niro but Johnny Depp is my favorite. He is very soft spoken, very charming and sweet – when I wait for him he doesn’t like to be too fussed over and is not in any way demanding."

“Because he had visited us before he calls me ‘Mo’ and I know exactly the way he likes to be treated. He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very ‘humble guy’ and a really cool dude," the waiter continued.

Obviously, I was delighted with his tip but he has always been very generous every time that he has visited us here at Gibsons. When the party left around 2:30 he smiled and told me that he would return – they were a great group of people.”

Sounds like it.

Sarah Jessica Parker And Matthew Broderick Welcome Twin Daughters

The twins were born to a surrogate in Ohio on Monday night.

Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, welcomed twin girls into their family, Barbara Walters reported on "The View" Tuesday (June 23). In late April, a rep confirmed that the couple, who have been married for 12 years, were expecting twins via a surrogate mother.

After unsuccessful attempts to become pregnant again after giving birth to their son, James, the couple turned to the surrogate and were completely "overjoyed" once they received the news that they were expecting twin girls. "Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate," representatives for the couple said in a statement a few months back. "They had a lot of unsuccessful tries," a friend told Entertainment Weekly, who first broke the news of the couple's latest addition to their family. "They came to the conclusion that this was going to be the best alternative for expanding their family. They're over the moon and excited as any prospective parents would be. Their life is about to get a lot busier."

"The View" reported that Broderick, 47, and Parker, 44, are at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry with the surrogate mother. However, according to WTRF in Ohio, which first reported the story, the baby girls were born Monday night. Details are expected to be released later.

Parker is indeed about to get a lot busier. Along with the birth of her twin daughters, she's got another baby on her hands — the "Sex and the City" sequel, due in theaters in May 2010.

Ed McMahon Dead At Age 86

Former 'Tonight Show' sidekick had been battling a 'multitude of health problems,' publicist says.

Ed McMahon, who was best known as Johnny Carson's sidekick on "The Tonight Show," died at age 86 early Tuesday morning (June 23).

McMahon died at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, his publicist, Howard Bragman, confirmed to The Associated Press. The announcer had been battling cancer for some time and was recently hospitalized for pneumonia. Although no cause of death was given, Bragman did say that McMahon suffered from a "multitude of health problems the last few months."

The Massachusetts native spent 30 years, from 1962 to 1992, on "The Tonight Show," where he became known for his catchphrase "H-e-e-e-e-e-ere's Johnny!" Before achieving fame in Hollywood, however, McMahon served as a colonel in the U.S. Marines Corps and a fighter pilot during the late 1940s and 1950s.

In addition to his legendary work on "Tonight," he later went on to host "Star Search" and co-hosted "TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes" alongside Dick Clark. He also appeared in numerous TV commercials and was the face of the American Family Publishers sweepstakes.

He later assumed his role as TV announcer on the short-lived TV Land show "Alf's Hit Talk Show" in 2004. McMahon broke his neck in 2007 and was unable to work, leading him to become more known for his financial problems in recent years than for his work as a television personality. As he struggled with bankruptcy, he gained the support of the Hollywood community, who rallied around him during his time of need.

Olivia Munn: Nude in Playboy!

TV host/model Olivia Munn poses naked for the latest issue of Playboy... but don't tell her that.

In a recent interview, the aspiring actress says she's proud of her pictorial, but claims she doesn't don her birthday suit for it.

"Unless you are like 40 and you have to prove something I don't think it's necessary for me to be naked," Munn said of the magazine's initial offer. "I just thought it would be a total sellout on my part. But it became like my favorite thing to tell everybody that I got the offer."

Two weeks later, Munn says the publication called back and said it was okay for her to pose with clothing on. Mission accomplished on the cover:

Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty: Back Together!

Home-wrecker extraordinaire Sienna Miller looks like she is officially back in the arms of age-inappropriate, marriage-inapproriate, kids-inappropriate lover Balthazar Getty.

Balthazar, who was last seen kissing Sienna Miller nude while married to his wife and the mother of his four children, was thought to have split with the wrecker of homes.

But the sexy pair who we assumed to be former lovebirds were spotted on a break in the romantic Italian town of Positano, and kissed each other at a restaurant.

They joined a group of family and friends for a meal at a restaurant called Lo Scoglio. But Sienna mustn't have been satisfied by her menu choice, as soon enough, she was spotted trying to devour the former Brothers & Sisters star's ear.

Sienna was also said to have arrived with her mom Jo on Friday, which makes their reported split with Balthazar even more unlikely, if he’s now got her approval.

This encounter comes just a few weeks after Sienna spoke about the break-up in Vogue magazine, telling the publication “[A friend] took me out to lunch - funnily enough to a restaurant called Balthazar, which I thought was hilarious."

"But she never commented on the irony of that - and she said, ‘You’ve been through hell, and you need to talk about it with someone,’” Miller added then.

Did the woman who wrecks homes like it's her job just pull one over on Vogue? And the rest of us? How much longer until she gets topless on the beach?

Dr. Conrad Robert Murray Sought in Michael Jackson Case

As details of Michael Jackson's untimely death continue to unravel, police are searching for Jackson's personal physician, who was living with the troubled star and reportedly gave him daily injections of very powerful morphine-like drugs.

Conrad Robert Murray, M.D., a cardiologist licensed to practice medicine in Texas, was living with Jackson at his rented Beverly Hills mansion.

The Houston cardiologist was also with the pop superstar when he suffered cardiac arrest Thursday and performed CPR until an ambulance arrived.

It was also Murray's BMW with Texas license plates that was towed away from Jackson's rented mansion by police investigators after the singer died.

The doctor's car was towed from Jackson's residence on Thursday night and it is believed to contain "medications pertinent to the investigation."

Murray's account of what happened could be critical in establishing what happened to Jackson, who is rumored to have suffered a Demerol overdose.

An autopsy on Michael Jackson (1958-2009) is taking place today.

Jermaine Jackson said yesterday that his brother's personal physician tried to resuscitate him at his home, as did the paramedics. Doctors at the hospital then tried to revive Jackson for more than an hour, but were unsuccessful.

The exact cause of his death remains unknown at this moment, however, Jackson's myriad physical problems have been well documented, with some reports eerily suggesting in January that he had just six months to live.

While Conrad Robert Murray is not classified as a missing person, or sought in connection with a crime, police are looking for him so they can question him.

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Murray has surfaced in L.A. and is preparing to speak with law enforcement officials regarding the death of Michael Jackson.

Coming Soon: Kristen Stewart-Dakota Fanning Love Scene

Rumors of a love scene with The Runaways stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are heating up. According to numerous new reports online, the actresses will have an "intense love scene" in the film, set in a hotel room.

We're sure Kristen will be imagining Dakota is Robert Pattinson throughout.

Those on the set of the movie say Stewart has become so engrossed in character as '70s-'80s rocker Joan Jett that the two have become one and the same.

Simon Cowell Speaks on Susan Boyle Regret, Future

In light of Susan Boyle's occasional breakdowns over the last few weeks, many have questioned the handing of the former Britain's Got Talent finalist.

Among the critics? Simon Cowell, who penned an editorial this week in UK's Daily Mail. In the excerpts from it below, the judge summarizes his own regrets and his own reactions to the Scottish singer...

On the handling of Boyle: I'm the first to hold my hands up and admit I've made mistakes. Looking back on it all, it has become clear to me that we didn't handle the situation with Susan as well as we could have.

On original impressions: She seemed fine with all the attention - I thought she was utterly charming and really thrilled about what happened. I thought, perhaps naively, that she was in control... I thought whatever happens, we have changed this lady's life.

On seeing Boyle's reaction to her Britain's Got Talent loss: I looked over at her face and thought: 'Christ, she doesn't know how to deal with not winning.' It was a bad moment. Afterwards, I went over and gave her a hug and tried to reassure her... we agreed that we would work together; that it wasn't the end of the road for her.

On not changing the show's format around: There is no easy way of achieving fame, and no guaranteed or trusted way of dealing with it. Who has the right to ban Susan Boyle, or anyone like her, from trying to sing her way out of one life and into another?... There have been problems, but I think overall it is a positive experience for her. I'm glad we gave her this opportunity.

Perez Hilton Files Lawsuit Against Polo Molina

Perez Hilton does not believe in violence, but he is hitting back - legally - at the man who allegedly punched him in the face early Sunday morning.

Hilton filed a lawsuit against Polo Molina, the manager for the Black Eyed Peas who was arrested for assaulting Perez after the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto.

He says he's a victim of intentional infliction of emotional distress. A photo surfacing Tuesday shows Hilton getting punched - it is not clear by whom.

A video of the Perez-will.i.am altercation contains some of the vile language that was exchanged prior to the attack, but also does not show the attack clearly.

Hilton's suit claims Molina attacked him because he wouldn't stop writing about the Peas on his website. Molina turned himself in Toronto cops on Monday.

Molina was charged with assault. Perez is suing for an excess of $25,000.

The celebrity gossip blogger's attorney released this statement:

"Perez Hilton was assaulted by the Band's road manager because he would not agree to stop writing about the Black Eyed Peas on Perezhiton.com."

"Perez Hilton files this lawsuit to protect his freedom of speech against those who physically assaulted him because they do not like his review of their album."

"Whether you love Perez or hate him, he is entitled to his freedom of speech without fear of violence. This lawsuit makes a statement that violence is never the answer."

Polo Molina is being sued by Perez Hilton for his alleged attack on the blogger. The Black Eyed Peas manager is said to have assaulted Hilton during an argument.

Britney Spears Remembers Ed McMahon

'He is responsible for giving so many artists their first shot including myself,' Spears says of the onetime 'Star Search' host.

Before she was Mouseketeer or multiplatinum-selling artist and household name, Britney Spears was a 10-year-old aspiring singer who got her first taste of fame when she was on "Star Search."

Late Tuesday, after news broke that "Star Search" host, Ed McMahon, had died at the age of 86, Britney took to her Twitter page to remember the man who helped kick-start her career back in 1992. "I am deeply saddened by today's news about Ed McMahon. He is responsible for giving so many artists their first shot including myself," she wrote. "He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed."

On the show, she performed the Judds' "Love Can Build a Bridge," and while she didn't win, she did earn a spot on "The Mickey Mouse Club" a year later, alongside fellow past "Star Search" contestants Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.

Many other celebrities took to their Twitter accounts on Tuesday to react to McMahon's passing. Most celebrities, like Alyssa Milano and Jon Favreau, posted a simple "R.I.P.," while frequent Twitterer Ashton Kutcher wrote, "Rip Ed McMahon 'the original Hype man.' "

Other stars like Liev Schrieber described McMahon's passing as "a terrible loss." "I just remember him as such a lovely guy," Schreiber told "Entertainment Tonight." "Always had a smile for everyone. He was just the sweetest person — it's a terrible loss."

Jackson Family Spokesman: "This Is A Case Of Abuse Of Medications"

Brian Oxman, the Jackson family attorney, called into CNN this evening. Despite the fact that several sources have confirmed that Michael Jackson is dead, Oxman would not, but he did speak candidly about Jackson's troublesome prescription drug use.

Even though Oxman was calling from UCLA Medical Center—where Jackson was brought, and where his family members are convening—he would not confirm his death, which is bizarre. But bizarre has become synonymous with Jackson's life over the last two decades.

Most interestingly, though, Oxman says that Jackson was in fine physical condition, but that he had a very serious problem with prescription medication, and that the people that were surrounding him were enablers. Oxman went on to say, "If you think the case with Anna Nicole Smith was an abuse, it's nothing in comparison to what we have seen taking place in Michael Jackson's life."

Kover Your Ears: Kim Kardashian Wants to Kreate Musik

According to sources, Kim Kardashian is working on an album, currently untitled. Unfortunately, "Back Dat Ass Up" is already a hit song by Juvenile.

The girl famous for everything and nothing at the same time now wants to sing. She’s already started it, BET says, and wants to do a duet with Ciara.

Kim's album, if it ever gets produced, and we can only hope it does not, is going to be primarily sound bites of her moaning as Ray J taps that R&B.

“I’d have to hear a song and feel it out and see if it’s something I’d sound good at," Kim said. I would like the music to sound a bit like Lady GaGa, Britney Spears and J.Lo with a bit of an R’n’B twist to it. Filming the video would be the most fun.”

This girl is a music star waiting to be born.

This is totally not the first time Kim Kardashian has expressed her desire to launch a singing career. She said in an interview back in 2007 at the House of Hype Grammy after party that “everyone’s been asking me about the singing thing."

And by everyone, she probably means no one.
