Out promoting her new book “The Trump Card,” Ivanka Trump was spotted signing books at Barnes and Noble in New York City today (October 14).

The real estate beauty looked amazing as she posed for pictures in a flaming red dress with black stockings and black heels while holding a copy of her new release.

In a recent interview, Ivanka explained how she had to turn down a job offer from Vogue magazine to pursue her dreams of designing and real estate.

She revealed, “I had, like many people, pulled an all-nighter studying for the final exam that I had the next morning. And I receive a call the next morning directly from Anna Wintour, her assistant connected us, etc. — she called my cell phone, so I was a little bit ... taken off guard would be sort of an understatement. And she very graciously inquired as to what I was planning to do after graduation, and offered me a position at Vogue, which to any girl, even if you’re not particularly interested in fashion — as life would have it I ended up starting a jewelry collection, and she’s been an amazing supporter of me in my future endeavors. But it was a great honor.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Talk âNew Moonâ

With the November 20th release of “New Moon” just around the corner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart discussed what to expect of the new flick, as well as what else is going on in their lives.

Pattinson revealed that he enjoyed making “New Moon” because he wasn’t the main focus.  “I’m not the lead in the second film. Taylor [Lautner] is.  I appear in Bella’s dreams. So I’m in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning … and the end.”

Robert added, “So I’m more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn’t have to deal with any of the bulls*** of the first one. I don’t have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures.”

And Kristen piped in that she’s in awe that anyone would find her picture on the “New Moon” poster attractive.  “This shot got everyone talking like I have some sort of great a**.  But come on, I have a flat a**. I don’t know what people are talking about.”

Nicole Kidman Steps Out for Omega

Venturing out for promotional duties, Nicole Kidman looked stunning as she dropped by the Omega flagship boutique in New York City on Wednesday evening (October 7).

The “Eyes Wide Shut” actress was clad in a stylish black dress as she joined Omega CEO Stephen Urquhart for a press op at the high-end watch shop.

Aside from earning cash from her Omega ambassador role, Miss Kidman is gearing up to star in the Tomas Alfredson directed film, “The Danish Girl”.

Due out in 2011, a synopsis of the film via IMDB tells: “Inspired by the true story of Danish painter Einar Wegener and his California-born wife, this tender portrait of a marriage asks: What do you do when someone you love wants to change? It starts with a question, a simple favor asked of a husband by his wife on an afternoon chilled by the Baltic wind while both are painting in their studio. Gosselin Kids are Upset, Kate Canât Pay Her Bills

Given the fact that her husband Jon has drained their bank account to the tune of $230,000, Kate Gosselin says she’s unable to pay her bills.

During an interview on the “Today” show, the “Jon and Kate Plus 8” mother explained, “When you’ve left your children and their mother without the funds to pay for the roof over their head, it’s not acceptable.  I need that money to provide for them.”

She continued, “We were in the position after our sextuplets were born that we could not pay our bills. We did the show to provide a better life for them. Never did I think I’d be back in the same position.  I have a stack of bills in my purse I can’t put in the mail.”

And contrary to Jon’s reports that their kids are being harmed by the reality show, Kate stated that her children are devastated that the TLC crew has left their house.  “I told the kids over the weekend that we weren’t filming.  Times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love the crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. It is not harmful to them. They are angry.”

Gwyneth Paltrow: London Lady

She’s been staying out of the public eye as of late, but earlier today (October 2) Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted outside her North London home.

The “Shakespeare in Love” actress looked a bit windblown as she supped on a cup of coffee and enjoyed the mild fall weather.

And while she’s mostly known for her acting abilities, Ms. Paltrow recently offered some financial advice to the loyal readers of her GOOP Web site.

She wrote, “People who are watching their wallets should always go shopping with three things: a budget, a buddy, and a stopwatch. The budget is your pre-determined amount of how much you can afford to spend in cash. If you do use credit, set a maximum that you can pay off in two or three month’s time maximum. Your buddy’s job is to keep you accountable. She’s the girlfriend who’s going to go with you – to that boutique you love, to the mall, or wherever – and remind you not to overspend and go into debt. It’s also her role to get you out of the stores once you’ve hit your limit. And here’s where the last ‘must take’ shopping item comes into play.”
